An original or certified copy is required. You can order a certified copy of your articles and request an Apostille at the same time. Normal processing takes up to 3 days, plus additional time for mailing, and costs $15. Always provide the name of the country needing a Pennsylvania Apostille or Certificate of Authentication.
By Mail:
Cover letter and Order Form must include the name of the country, payment, address the documents should be mailed to after processing, self-addressed prepaid envelope, and a daytime phone number for possible questions. You must enclose an original or certified copy of the document, or a request for a certified copy of the document. If you are requesting a certified copy at the same time, a separate check will need to be provided for the Apostille fee.
In Person:
You must provide a certified copy or original document. You will want to have your payment handy.
A Pennsylvania certified copy can be ordered at the same time. This fee does not include a certified copy.

Yes. Expedited service fees are in addition to the statutory fees associated with the type of document submitted or service sought. Expedited service fees are as follows:
1 hour service (received before 4:00 p.m.) $1,000
3 hour service (received before 2:00 p.m.) $300
Same-day service (received before 10:00 a.m.) $100
Check, Cashier’s Check or Money Order. Make check or money order payable to: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Normal processing: 2-3 business days, plus additional time for mailing.
Counter Service: up to 2-3 business days, same day service may be available depending on workload.
It will be returned by the type of pre-addressed prepaid envelope or UPS airbill that you provide. Federal Express or DHL are not accepted. Return service by fax or email is not available.
