Youth Services Librarian – Hartland Public Library

Do you love making a difference? The Hartland Public Library is looking for an innovative and customer-service-focused Youth Services Librarian to join our team and bring amazing programs and literacy opportunities to our community! This full-time position (40 hours/week) involves both independent work and collaborating with other librarians and staff members to perform such responsibilities as Storytimes, planning unique children’s programming opportunities, hosting bi-monthly school visits, and purchasing materials for our children’s collections, amongst others.

This position is non-supervisory and reports directly to the Library Director. Schedule includes one evening per week and one Saturday a month. The ideal candidate would have excellent public-facing skills, along with an ability to build and maintain community and patron relationships. This position is eligible for health insurance, paid time off, and inclusion in the Wisconsin Retirement System. Hourly salary starts at $24.00, with a range dependent on qualifications.

Early Childhood Specialist/Reference Assistant (part-time) – Oconomowoc Public Library

The Oconomowoc Public Library is currently accepting applications for a part-time Early Childhood Specialist/Reference Assistant.

Current shifts are Tues. & Wed. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and one Monday evening shift. The position is also part of a Sat./Sun. weekend rotation. Schedule subject to change.
Starting $17.04 per hour.

Driver / Sorter – South Central Library System (SCLS)

The South Central Library System (SCLS), based in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time sorter/driver (“Driver II”).

General Description
The Driver II is the staff member responsible for the delivery of library materials on scheduled routes throughout Wisconsin. The Driver II is responsible for the safe operation, routine inspection and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle as well as ensuring accurate and friendly material exchanges. The Driver II is also responsible for accurate, neat and timely sorting and packing of library materials at our delivery facility as well as loading and unloading vehicles.

Qualifications

Schedule
40 hours per week, M-F. Specific schedule TBD, but all shifts will fall between 6:30am-6:30pm. No uniforms! No weekends!
Starting pay is $15.72 with an increase on 1/1/24 to $16.68. Raises every six months of continuous, satisfactory employment until top of pay scale ($19.51) is reached.
